As a supporter of Arizona State University, you understand the importance of higher education. The Sun Devil Advocate Network wants to encourage you to share your support with Arizona’s elected officials and in particular our state legislators.

Your state senator and representatives were elected to represent you and they want to hear from their constituents -- this guide is designed to assist you in your advocacy efforts on behalf of ASU. This guide will show you how one person can make a difference.

A Note to ASU Employees
As employees of a public institution, ASU faculty and staff have limitations on how they can engage in advocacy activities.

Remember, when you communicate with ANY elected official regarding a political position, DO NOT USE ASU E-MAIL, PHONES, FAX OR LETTERHEAD.

The ASU Office of the General Counsel has prepared a fact sheet with more information. Go to ASU General Counsel's Political Activity Fact Sheet
